Making a specific category my home page, but usng no code or themes?

The past 2 hours I have been pulling my hair out as to find a simple way to make a specific category my home page. I have looked up numerous threads online, most show either adding code or a plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/front-page-category/). But I dont have premium and I dont want to use plugins as I want other people to view it aswell…and just prefer no addons.

I have tried deleting, adding, moving categories and posts, using static page and I cant seem to get a specific category as my home page. I must be doing something wrong and there is an obvious answer. I do not to display latest posts, just posts from a specific category.

Can anyone shed some light and help? Thank you

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

bump, the title is wrong, its supposed to say “…but using no code or plugins…” even though I probably need premium

If this is no way possible to add a certain category to home page for free version of wordpress, can an admin just delete this thread as it will serve no purpose. Thanks
