making a static page for my blog

  I’d like to know how to create a static page. I tried a video on you tube, but something didn’t work.
  So how can I make a static page.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can use the Pages feature in WordPress to create static pages. You’ll find instructions and detailed information at:

  You can use the instructions Andre has pointed to to create a new static page to set as a static front page. After you have done that then you can make the changeover to it here Dashboard > Settings > Reading

  look for:
  Front page displays

  __Your latest posts

  __ A static page (select below) select the static Page you created and then click “Save Changes”
