Making a theme wisget-aware

  Hello!

  I just got my own hosting for my wordpress site and the theme that I was using Neo-Sapien v.06 on the free wordpress site works perfectly, but when I transferred everything to my own site, it says that it is not widget aware. I am not that knowledgeable with code so I don’t know how to fix it and the guide on making it widget-aware is completely foreign to me. I hope someone can help me. Thanks!

  You need to inquire over at http://wordpress.org/support/ since we here are not familiar with the version of the software you are using.

  Making a theme widget aware is not an easy task and requires quite a bit of knowledge of php programming and CSS experience.

  You would be better off finding another theme that is widget aware, or living with what neo-sapien gives you.

  Hi thesacredpath!

  Yeah, I’ve already contacted the designer of the theme and he said that he won’t be updating the theme anymore. I’m currently using WordPress 2.5. I was able to make the theme show the dynamic sidebar / widgets but the formatting is still bad.
