Making a website for first time

  Don’t want to pay for personal subscription when the screen says WordPress.com after my webpage name. I just want it to say my website’s name with a .com?!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Upgrading to the Personal plan is the way to remove .wordpress.com from your site address as you’ll have the option of a custom domain. The original site ending in .wordpress.com will still exist in the background and redirect to the new domain if anyone typed it into a browser. If you ever didn’t renew your upgrade in the future the free address would still be available to you.
