Making an ecommerce site

Hi there I am trying to make my current website https://toshibafashions.wordpress.com/ into a site that users can perform online shopping. I found a plug-in that would do the trick but it is not letting me upload it. I checked to see what the paid membership offers (which I don’t have) and I did not see anything that mentioned the ability to create a site that contains online shopping capabilities. Please inform me how I can add this important feature to my site. Thank you.

Ecommerce is no longer available on WordPress.com:

https://en.support.wordpress.com/ecwid/although it’s possible to embed a PayPal button.
