Making audio files available to download as well as stream

    Hello. I have been visiting your support pages, namely the /audio support page and the /documents support page and have not been able to find out how to get my audio file, in this case a podcast, to be available on my page to download as well as listen to in the media player. The media player works fine but I want my visitors to download the audio from my page as well, and I want it to be easy and obvious how to do so. When I try to insert the audio into the page from my Media Library, my “Attachment Display Settings” at the right side only offer: “Embed Media Player, Link to Media File and Link to Attached File”, none of which provide an option to download the file. Please help with more than “visit the support/audio page”

    “Link to media file” will work. Your visitors will need to right-click on the link and choose “save” because today’s browsers tend to auto-play audio file link links rather than offering to save them by default.
