If you’re asking about a self-hosted blog then you’re posting to the wrong forum. This is WordPress.com, you need WordPress.org for self-hosted blogs. Here’s the page for the wordpress.org forums:
and to understand the difference between wordpress.com and wordpress.org, click this:

There are a couple of links at the bottom of that page that’ll give you extra info too.

I am not asking about a self-hosted blog. I pay for an upgrade at wordpress.com. Can someone help me set my links so they only show one time in the sidebar?

Hello there,
What is the link in question please?
Links widgets only display data. The data they display is entered into the dashboard Links section. Have you editing your Links section in your dashboard to remove it? This is the guide you can use > Links Menu (Blogroll) » Edit a Blogroll Link to delete a link. If you have assigned more that one Links category to a link then it will be displayed twice – once under each links category. Also note that it’s wise to clear your browser cache and cookies after you do that or you may be viewing outdated data.
