Making Blog Malware and Injection Proof
-
Hi,
I recently setup a blog and within 2 days it was infected by a malware. Whenever I tried to open my blog it will show me redirect to http://rbgt.in:8080/index.php. I checked my blog installation and all the index.php files of the blog were infected. I downloaded the file and tried to check the code but it kept giving my an error saying “Access to file restricted”. I have has problems before with my own php applications and I have fixed them for malwares and injections. Do I need to do the same here too? I am sure that WordPress has implemented security and injection checks in the application.
What should I do to stop being infected by malware? In the last week I have been hit by this malware twice forcing me to delete and put the new files.
Thanks.
