Making blog no longer password protected.
-
Easy question: My blog is password protected and I now want it to open to the public. When I try editing it, nothing happens. How do I open my blog?
Thank you for letting me know.

The posts are password protected. The blog itself is not private. It doesn’t appear that one can use “bulk edit” to remove password protection on multiple posts. The only option is to edit each post to change its status to “public,” then update each one.
Luckily there are not too very many posts on that blog…

@ardpete – the blog is open – but all the Posts are password protected
I don’t know if the Bulk Edit will work – but go to your All Posts page and click on the Posts (left side check box) then try the bulk edit at the top and see if you get an option to remove the password protection in mass – otherwise you will need to edit each Post and change the visibility one at a time

Thank you for your replies. This morning, I was able to go to each post and change them from “password protected” to “public.” I have no idea as to why I was not able to do that yesterday but it is all fine now.
Again, thank you for your replies.
