Making blog posts to more than one page
-
I’m new at this, and I’m trying to figure out how I can organize my posts other than just creating categories. Since my blog is going to be used for a few different purposes, I want to post blogs on specific pages so readers do not have to see every single post I publish. For example I would like to post personal updates/videos in my “Life & Family” page and my travel blogs on my “Travel” page.
I would like to main/home page to be static with just a simple welcome that can direct visitors to what they would like to look at.
My question is 1) How do I move the posts I have already written to the pages that I want? 2) In the future when I write a new post, how do I specify which page I want it posted on?
I hope this makes sense. Thanks for your help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. Creating categories is actually the only way you can do what you want to do. Blog posts by default appear on your home page (main feed) in reverse chronological order. You cannot prevent posts from publishing on the main feed, but you can set up category pages that will only display posts that have a certain category assigned. You’ll need to create a custom menu in order to use category pages. See these articles for comprehensive instructions:
