Making blog private

  Hi. I’m trying to make my blog private. The website says to go to Settings–>Reading, but “reading” is not an option under my Settings tab.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Are you the owner of the site? You need full administrator privileges to see all options in the Settings menu.

  What options DO you see under “Reading”?

  I do not see the Settings -> General -> language tab (how can I add it?) I have a network and 2 blogs and cannot find it anywhere – yes I am logged in as Admin.

  I am a blogger on wordpress – I am not starting my own .org site. Yes, I am the owner of that site.
  I do not see “Reading” as an option.

  That’s the one you have to log in under as Admin in order to delete it. To delete a free hosted WordPress.COM blog you must be logged in under the exact same username account that registered the blog. To prevent accidental or inadvertent deletion of blogs, there are multiple warnings given that blog deletion is permanent and irreversible. Lastly, a verification link is sent in an email and must be clicked to delete a blog. If clicking that link does not work then copy and paste it into your upper browser window and click.

  Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.

  OH NO! You just wanted to make it private but the same applies. You cannot make any blog private, unless or until you are correctly logged in under the exact same username account that registered the blog.

  I don’t want to delete the blog, I just want to make it private! I am logged in as rndardashti, the admin who created that site.
