Making changes to a gallery
-
Hi!
I’m using a gallery on Contact us page and I’d like to be able to put the images and text underneath each other rather than side by side.
Also, is there a way to put text on the next line down, rather than all together in one paragraph?
Thanks!
NaomiThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That’s not a gallery, it’s just two individual captioned images. They can be arranged any way you like, but since they are small I don’t see why you don’t want them side by side: if you place them the one beneath the other, the right half of the page will be blank, and you’ll need to scroll down to see the second text. How about images one beneath the other and texts next to each image?

Okay, I’m new to this as of yesterday, so thanks for your patience!
You said you can arrange them however you like, but I’ve tried clicking and dragging the images without success. Do you have to move them a different way?
Ideally what I would like is the first full size picture on the left with text on the right then the second full size picture on the right with the text on the left. Also, the text for the second image should start at the top of the image.
Thanks!

Click on the images and click the delete icon.
Enter text 1 and text 2 in the main body of the page.
Switch the editor to HTML and paste this after text 1 and after text 2:
<br style="clear:both;" />Place the cursor at the start of text 1 and insert image 1 without a caption, setting its alignment to left.
Place the cursor at the start of text 2 and insert image 2 without a caption, setting its alignment to right. -
