Making changes to Website: Edit old ones, New Name, Re-Direct

  Hi, I would like to edit some of my daily blogs. I’m a senior citizen and it isn’t that easy for me to do this. There used to be a red “edit” sign at bottom, but that doesn’t appear, only “comment,” as if I’m not in my own blog. Also, I plan on changing my blog name. How do I do that? How do I immediately re-direct the old ones to the new ones? What is the charge? I may also buy the “.com” name rather than use wordpress. Also, how do I back up all my work in case for I’m using it for memoirs. Thank you.
