Making content searchable on the www

Hi there – I am new to the world of blogging. My aim with my blog is to share my story and also to help others out there with a similar experience. My son has a medical condition and I want my content (“Klinefelters syndrome”) to be searchable by someone out there who might be googling for info on Klinefelters. How do I achieve this or is it automatic? Is this what tags are about? Sorry if this is a dumb question – help much appreciated, thanks!

Your blog will eventually be indexed by search engines unless you’ve chosen to block them under Settings->Privacy.
