Making Copy of Post With wordpress.com free site

I want to make a copy of one of my posts on my WordPress.com free site, and I can’t figure out how to do it. In an earlier version of WordPress.com, this was very easy to do, but now I can’t even see how to do it. The reason I want the copy is that I prepared the post using two different devices, an iPad and a computer. I did most of the work, including finishing the post and publishing it, on the computer. Now I’m left with an unfinished version on my iPad, stuck in editing mode. If I click on UPDATE on the iPad version to get out of editing mode, I assume I’ll lose the final, published, version, so I want another copy of the post as a backup. If I can’t copy the post with the new free version of WordPress, do you have any other solution to my dilemma?

Are you using the new editor? You are reporting a known issue in the new editor. Try the classic editor.
You cannot deactivate the new Beep Beep Boop editor but you do not have to use it. On the dashboard of your own blog at
Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add Newhttp://REPLACE_WITH_ ACTUAL _NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php

On the dashboard of your own blog at
Dashboard > Posts > All Posts one can hover over any post title and click the Edit link. and proceed with editing.http://REPLACE_WITH_ ACTUAL _NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php
