Making Custom Header Responsive

    Hi,

I need help making my header image responsive. I uploaded a custom header to the website’s desired specs. But when I view my website on my iPhone the header image isn’t viewable and becomes too big.

Any ideas? What the problem is? PS: I do have the premium plan.

On responsive width themes with full width headers, this is a pretty difficult thing to do. The custom header in Snaps is best suited for photographic type images that are not as sensitive to resizing and cropping as graphic style headers, such as yours. I’d like to take a different approach to this if you are willing to go along and see if we can’t get things acceptable for you and have it work smoothly on all screen sizes.

First, remove your header image. Next, add a site title at Customize > Site Identity. After you do that, post back here and we will hide that text-based site title and insert your header image into the site title div and then size and configure things so that it is responsive.
