Making deleted WordPress domain available again

  Hi,

  I deleted a WordPress domain annadrevicka.wordpress.com (a few months ago I think) but it was a mistake and I would like to start using it again. I am currently using drevickaanna.wordpress.com but would like to switch back to the previous one. However, it is still not possible to use that domain.

  Is it possible to make it usable again?

  annadrevicka.wordpress.com is no longer available.
  The authors have deleted this site.

  If you deleted that site more than 30 days ago then I am afraid it is gone forever. Perhaps you could create a new site with the same address but ending in .home.blog or similar.

  the site content may be deleted but I assume that the domain “annadrevicka.wordpress.com” will become available for anyone to use again after some time passes right? What I wanted to know is whether there was a way for the WordPress folks to speed up that process.

  I’m afraid not.
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/ says:

  It is possible to reverse a site deletion for the first 30 days after a site is closed. If you realize you closed your site in error, please contact us immediately. We will be able to assist you in restoring your site during this 30 day window. Once the 30 days have passed, all of your site data is purged and cannot be restored, and the site address is deleted and cannot be reused.
