making documents available for download

  I would like to make documents available for download to individuals visiting my site. what is the best way to do this? My documents are currently in Word format. thank you

  Upload the documents from the “new post” page and then either put a link to the document in a post or page. It is very similar to inserting an image. Highlight the text you want to use as the link to the document, upload the document, after it uploads, make sure the “link to file” is active (press the button if not) and then click “insert into post.” It will then make the text you selected into the link to the document.
