Making image gallery more user friendly

  Hello,

  I have some issues with the image gallery installed by default. I find it far from being user friendly. For instance, I cannot scroll my pictures, which is a very frustrating user experience :(

  If you could advice how to change this behaviour or switch to another gallery it would be just great!

  I agree! I am currently trying to find out if there is a better gallery option available on wordpress.com, or if I will need to switch my client over to private hosting and use a plugin. The gallery needs a “next” photo function, at the very least, to avoid having to close each image file and open the next one! Anyone have an ideas? Please help. :)

  There is currently no alternative to either uploading pictures individually or using the gallery at WordPress.com.

  In some themes you do get previous/next navigation tabs.

  does anyone know how to add an image to an existing gallery? i am puzzled cant find an add image button at all.
