making link visible in “Monotone” photo theme?
-
I am hoping someone knows the simple CSS to add one link to the Monotone photo blog. When adding a link the normal way it doesn’t show up since this theme doesn’t allow widgets . . . can I get around this without changing themes? [I like the look of this one :-)]
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I don’t think there is, even with the CSS upgrade. CSS “styles” what is already there, it cannot be used to add functionality to the theme.
You are probably going to have to change themes.

You can set a static front page and a posts page (see the FAQ on static front), and write links in the static front page.
-
And please paste the exact URL of your blog when asking questions here, or link your nickname to your blog (as explained in the Sticky 8 Things to Know Before Posting). We usually need that to give a relevant answer.

I put links on my Monotone blog all the time; at LEAST two per post. You just have to make them BOLD or something, so they stand out and people think of hovering their cursor over them.

In the post editor, highlight the text used for the link and then click the “bold” icon on the tool bar.
