Hi,
It’s not clear what you are attempting to do. By “tabs,” are you referring to your custom menu items such as “Biblical Doctrines,” “Bible Study,” etc.?
-
Yes the Bible Doctrines In the beginning I have each chapter starting from chapter 1 thru 28 and its underlined and I would like to make a link with the corresponding chapter so the people can click on the link and head to the chapter without scrolling all the way down. And make links for each sub topic as well Sorry if i was not clear I hope that you can help . It be easier to make links for the chapter and each sub topic on the Bible Doctrines and also if you can help with Bible study as well or any other suggestions

Hi,
Regardless of whether the top level menu item in your custom menu is static page, such as “Biblical Doctrines,” or a category page, such as “Verses of the Day,” all sub-menu items (chapters, sub-topics, etc.) will have to be added individually to the menu as follows:
- Add a link to each chapter or sub-topic page/post as described in the Additional menu items section of the Custom Menus support page
- Nest each sub-menu item beneath the appropriate higher level menu item as described in the Organize your menu section of the support page.
-
In addition you will need to create the “target text” id for each of your 28 chapters in your document where you want the links to connect. This will create a link to use in your menu. You could also link each of your chapter headings at the top of your document to these internal links.
Create the link by going to text or html mode in your editor.
Go to the beginning of Chapter 1 in the document.
Add
Chapter 1
Save your document. This now provides a link anchor and the target text for your chapter 1.
If you wish to link to the chapter from the list of chapters at the top of the page you will use this:
Chapter 1However you also now have a URL that you can use in your custom menu if you want all your chapters listed as submenu items under you main heading such as Biblical Doctrines. To use your link in the menu you will have to use the full link URL as
https://thechristiandisciple.wordpress.com/biblical-doctrines/#chapter-1
For a full description of this process read the support document Page Jumps at https://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/page-jumps

You will have to create a target text and id for each of your internal links on your page.
