Making my blog private and for people to be unable to see already published post

  Hi.

  I have a blog and it has been public so far, but I want to make it private, so that people don’t see the content anymore. I want the content of my blog (including posts that have been added while the blog was public) to become private.

  Hey there,
  You can change your privacy setting by going to Dasboard>Settings>Reading. Scroll down to and select “I would like to make my site private, visible only to viewers I choose”. Make sure to save your changes.

  Changing a Blog with Followers from Public To Private

  If you had your blog set to public, but you’d like to make it private instead, you can change the settings to private at any time by following the instructions in this support document. If you have followers on your blog, they will no longer be able to view your site by visiting it directly unless you invite them as a viewer. They will also no longer receive new content you publish in Reader; however, content that you published when your site was public might still be viewable.

  I changed my privacy settings and I don’t want to be in Google. How can I remove my site?

  You need to wait until your results drop in the search engine. There is nothing we can do. You may request a Google remove a website from their index through the website removal request tool.

  I changed a public blog to private on Sunday. The posts are not showing up in Google (just a notification that the site is private). I hope this is the case with your blog!
