Making my "home page" a home page instead of blog

  I have the “Sela” theme website and would like to know if there is an option for deleting the blog and making it into a home page with information only and no date on the right hand side. I prefer for it to just be a home page and not a blog. Should I switch to a different theme where blogs are an option? Which one?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can set a static “Home” page (Front Page) using the instructions in this guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/
