Making my main blog page my Home page

  Hi,
  I created another blog and I noticed that the main page that opens up when people log on is my recent Blog post and that’s fine however that’s what I want people to see, however I want to make this my Home page and I want to have a tab at the top that says “Home”.

  So in other words when people log on and it takes them to my blog post I want it to direct them to the Home page ( blog post). I want that to be my Home page.

  I am not sure if I am explain this correct, but on my other blog. I have it set up that way but I don’t remember how I did it. For example people can click on another tab say my contact and if they want to get back to my blog post they would just click Home and it will take them to my blog post.

  How can I achieve this with my new blog.

  I viewed a tutorial that stated that you could create a page called home and then set it as a static page but all that did was direct people to a blank page and not my Blog post and that’s not what I want.

  Can you give me very specific instructions how to make my blog post appear under a Home page tab.

  I apologize if this doesn’t make sense.
