Making my photo private
-
The photo I’m using appears on the home page of http://www.prepsportshappenings.home.blog. I’d rather the image not be visible to the public intuit location. How do I change the setting so that photo is private?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi –
The theme is pulling in your Gravatar image. If you want to keep the image on the theme but change what is displayed you’ll need to update the image on your WordPress.com user account. Otherwise, click on My Sites – Customize – Site Identity – and disable that portion of the theme.

Hi Liz,
I tried doing all that and it didn’t work. I added a photo to the home page but my photo continues to show up in the middle of it.
I sent to the settings page and I can’t find a way to make my image private.
Any thoughts on how to do that, please?
Rick

I’ve fixed it. The setting was in a different spot from where I thought it was going to be.
I removed the email address from the field at My Sites – Customizer – Theme Options. There’s no more profile image displayed on the site.
Write back if you need anything else :)

Is that universal? My photo is showing on my page as well and I would rather it not, can you tell me what I need to disable it? Thanks!

Hi @stepha1969,
Yes, that option is on your theme as well. You can go to My Sites > Customizer > Theme Options and remove your email address for that field.
Let me know if you have any questions.
