    Hi influencertaylor,

When I went to the Argent theme guide, it listed these steps to show recent portfolio projects on the main page.

Argent’s Front Page Template can include recent projects from your portfolio if you choose to display them:

Visit wordpress.com/customize and select the site you’re working on, if prompted.
    Open the Theme Options section.
Check “Show Portfolio Section” (you will see a No Projects Found” message if you have not added any portfolio projects yet).
By default, this section will display no title above the projects. You can add a title by adding text in the Portfolio Section Title field.
By default, this section displays your three newest portfolio projects. You can choose to display three, six, or nine projects with the Number of Projects to display option.

    Have you tried this yet?

I have! Unfortunately none show up.

  • Hi there – you first need to set your front page to a static page.

    Create a page called Home.

Go into your Customizer‘s Static Front Page panel. Choose “a static page” and then select the page you just created as your front page. (If you’d also like to have a blog, see the guide here.)

Open your Home page in the editor and give it the Front Page template by choosing it from the Page Attributes area.

Once you do that, your portfolio projects should be displayed.

Let me know how it goes.

That worked perfectly! Thank you so much!

  • Glad you’re all set – looking good!
