Making my profile public n to b viewed in search engine

  Hey
  I recently joined wordpress and wrote my first ever blog now I am having issues on how to make it public and be located in search engines….I read to change the reading setting under the settings sections but could not find any such option under the settings bar….so kindly reply back ASAP

  Very few themes have an author profile that displays below every post. In most themes there is no such feature and the data derived from here > Dashboard > Users > My Profile > About You (section) does not appear on the blog, it appears appears on your Gravatar profile page only.

  You can, of course, copy and paste it onto a static About page on your blog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/
