Making my site look like the demo.
-
I’m using the Edin design, and I’d like to have three or four stories lines up horizontally underneath the big image. The demo shows a format like that with thumbnail images and a short description or title with the image. I can’t seem to make that happen.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I see what you mean. And it can be quite confusing sometimes so don’t worry. I mean I’ve been using WordPress since a long time but everyday I discover something new which blows my mind and puts me back to the start line haha :)
So coming back to your question, you can create a page exactly like the demo by following the instructions on the theme page. They’ve described how to set up that kind of page.

Yeah, I’m still not able to make it look like I want. When I select the Grid Design, my posts are there, but just as a list with no photo.

I’m trying to make the image and links update to reflect my most recent posts. So I guess the most recent posts widget but with an image and horizontal format instead of a vertical list of entries. So basically instead of an about page image and link, home, and blog, it would be images and links for my three most recent posts.

OK, I think I’ve figured out what I’m doing. Is there any way to make the big banner photo in the middle thinner, so people don’t have to scroll down to see the stories? Also, is there a way to put the headlines for the stories on each page below the photo instead of on it?
