Making my site private

  Trying to change my site from public to private. When I go to privacy settings I am only given options for public and hidden (I have ‘hidden’ selected at the moment). Not sure why I can’t see the private option – perhaps because I am using Bluehost as a hosting site?

  Hey catiefranks,

  Looks like your website is a self-hosted version of WordPress.org which is not the same as WordPress.com, so the options will be different (not because you’re using Bluehost). To read more about it:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
