Making my site public

  I am trying to make my blog visible to everyone, yet when certain people try to view it, they can’t due to the site saying it is protected. On my computer and on others I have tried, I have no issue. Yet when I post the URL to Facebook is says the site is protected.
  I have gone to all the security/privacy settings and made them public. I am unsure of how to continue.

  Please advise.

  http://cocoliving.wordpress.com/ is not protected. When you post to FB it’s looking at a cached version which says it’s protected. The solution is to disconnect Publicize and clear your FB cache. http://umairj.com/146/how-to-clear-facebook-shares-cache/

  What about someone that never went on this site when it was private? Would they need to clear their cache, too?

  I just cleared my cache and all growing history, etc. And I don’t have my Facebook linked with my blog via Publicize. Yet when I post the URL on Facebook, I still the the message saying that this site is protected and that I have to sign in.

  You have to clear your FACEBOOK cache. I gave you the link to the instructions.
