Making new, free WordPress site from scratch, then using your existing domain?

  Hello,

  I currently have my site http://www.miguelvidaure.com with domain through GoDaddy and the site on Google Sites.

  I want to create a new, free WordPress site and then use my miguelvidaure.com domain on it. Is this even possible without having to do one of WordPress’ paid plans? It seems my only options are transferring my domain or mapping my domain, which both require a paid plan, but I don’t want to do either of these things.

  I want to create a new, free site from scratch and then have my domain go to it. Is this even possible?
