Making Pages Invisible

  Hi,

  I need to make pages invisible for my WP site. The only thing I can do now is make them Private, but that forbids anyone who’s not a staff member there from seeing them. I also don’t want the “Private” in the name of the page – I just want it to be invisible so I can link to it from others pages. Can anyone help me?

  at the pages widget, there’s an option to hide pages by inserting the page id, so that it wont appear at the home page.

  I went into the pages widget, but I still can’t figure out how to work it. I see: Title, Sort By, and Exclude. I tried putting the page names into the exclude, but they’re still visible at the top.

  You have to put the page ID in the exclude area. You can find the page ID by hovering over the comment thingee (second from the right) and looking in the status bar of your browser (bottom left on Firefox). (Could they have made the location of the page ID more obscure?)
