Making pages that contain blog entries from certain categories
-
Hi all,
I have had no luck trying to work this one out myself. Hoping someone can help!
I simply want to make certain pages display only blog posts from that category. Since my blog is actually a web comic, I would like to be able to have different pages for each comic.
The comics are released as single posts, but I am going to categorise them properly soon. Hoping each category can become a page.
Oh dear I hope this makes sense…
thanks in advance

Hi,
Those pages already exist, you just need to link to them.
One way is to use the Categories or Category Cloud widget (or Tag Cloud if you’re using tags). Just add it to your sidebar and you’re done.
If you’d prefer to create the links yourself, the links are like this, for categories or tags respectively:
http://thelovelyandhappycomic.com/category/category-name/
http://thelovelyandhappycomic.com/tag/tag-name/You can put those links in your sidebar using a href link tags in a Text widget, or by adding them to your Links tab and adding a Blogroll widget to your sidebar.

Hey Tellyworth,
thank you so much for your response. It’s immensely helpful.

If you want to see how it works, just visit the blog of any blogger in the forum whose name is linked to their blog. Click any category in the sidebar. You get full posts with some themes, excerpts with others.
