Making parent pages not clickable
-
I want to make my Reviews parent page not clickable. I’ve been reading these 2 threads: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/parent-pages-not-referred-in-menu?replies=4 and https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/how-to-put-a-post-under-page-parent?replies=15
According to the instructions given, I have to create a custom link and label. What is a label? The instructions given also say that I have to click on a title bar. What and where is the title bar?
I am using a custom menu. And yes, I have read through the support documentation for menus but I still can’t figure this out.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
dashboard—>menus—>click + to add menu—>type menu title—>create menu
custom links module—>type in any URL—>type in the label (in your case “Reviews”)—>add to menu—>click the word “custom” and from the dropdown, delete the http://URL
pages module—>check-mark “Reviews Made” and “Reviews Policy”—>click add to menu
custom menu module—>drag “Reviews Made” and “Reviews Policy” to the right so they will be child pages of “Reviews”

Oh, and don’t forget to save menu then select that menu to be in your navigation bar on top…

Thanks! I’ve got it working. I finally realized that I should be creating the link in the custom link module in the *menu* section and not the links section.
