Making photography theme like demo

confusing as hell…
If i make gallery as a posting, it creates the gallery that I am looking for but also adds second of each image under title which I do not want for the gallery page
I am two days from my option to walk away from WP if I can’t get some simple direction on creating the photography blog that I want. Thanks for any help.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
