Making post content more visable on front page

I’ve intergrated a blog into my website.
Is there any way that I can make more of each post visable on the front page, i.e. rather than having only a snippet followed by …..
Ideally I’d like the whole post to show up without having to click on it, I don’t think some people will be aware there’s more to it.
