Making posts horizontal
-
Hey there. I use the theme ‘Gateway’ for my blog. However, I have trouble regarding a few things.
1) Is there any way I can display three posts on the page horizontally instead of vertically?
2) How does the ‘featured’ tag work? I haven’t been able to use it properly.Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

1. regarding set up for posts, your display will be limited to the limits of the theme that you are using. if the options for your theme do not allow a certain way of displaying posts then you might have to look for a new theme that does what you wish. you can customize a search when looking up themes that can detail what you need
2. the featured tag is a part of your theme that allows you to add up to a certain amount of tagged posts to be displayed on your site so that they are always seen. so if you have a post, even if it was, say, three years old but wanted readers new and old to always see it, you can tag it so it is always there when people come to your site

Hi there, the site at twistedsanctity.wordpress.com appears to be using the Triton Lite theme, which has been retired.
If you wish to use Gateway, you may want to review the theme’s Showcase page to learn more about setting it up. This theme does have a special front page template that needs a bit more effort to set up, but you may like the results. https://wordpress.com/themes/gateway/ The Featured Posts feature is also explained on that page.
I would like to suggest that you consider using a newer theme. As time goes on, retired themes like Triton Lite are no longer updated and do not support WordPressdotcom’s newer features.
Let us know if you need any more help with that.
