  I am trying to make posts on the tabs I have just created in my menus

  Your blogging page is the only page which will display posts. You cannot post to a page. You have made your front/home page static so it will not display any posts.

  You can make it appear as though you have different pages with posts by assigning categories to your posts. Then use the categories in a custom menu so readers can choose which set of posts they want to read.
