making posts smaller within menus
-
Hi, ive recently created a menu for my blog. Im wondering if within a menu you can change how the posts are laid out.
Im happy with the home page and how its one blog post after another. What I want to change is how they appears in both my recipes and reviews menu.
I like my posts to appear in these menus either as just a list of blog titles or even small pictured tiles.
Does anyone know if thats possible? Im new to blogging.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

In the majority of themes, posts in category or monthly archive pages show up just as they do in the main posts page. But in some themes only the beginnings of posts are shown, and in a few themes you only get titles or thumbnails.

Hi again !
If you want to keep only the titles, you can insert this in your CSS :
.archive .entry-content{ visibility:hidden; margin:0; padding:0; height:0; } .archive .entry-meta{ visibility:hidden; margin:0; padding:0; height:0; } .archive .hentry{ margin-bottom:0; padding-bottom:0; border-bottom: 0; } .archive .entry-title{ font-size:22px; } .archive .entry-header{ margin-bottom:0px; } .archive .archive-header{ margin-bottom:22px; padding-bottom:0px; } .archive .archive-title{ font-size:30px; margin-bottom:20px; }It will make the archive title bigger, remove the small lines between articles, remove the images, and metadata, resize the titles, readjusted the margins.
Tell me if you like it !

My pleasure ! I made sure it only affects the archive section, so your main blog section won’t be affected by the changes.

Just one more thing, do you know how I can centre my menus? Ive just noticed they are aligned to the left.
-
Well they are aligned left because the search field is aligned on the right side. Do you want to center everything or center and remove the search bar ?
