Making Quintas wider

  I would like to make the content section wider, as the two background sections (if added together) are as wide as the entire blog.
  Could anyone help me with the CSS code I would need to change to do this?

  …upon checking my blog in IE, it is exactly as I would like, but in Firefox it is narrower. I have cleared cache and still no change. Any ideas?

  Do you mean you want to hide the sidebar entirely (or move it?) and make the content section full width?

  I checked http://homebrewsuperkits.com/ and it’s the same width for me in both IE8 and Firefox 11.0. Just to make sure, are the zoom settings the same in both of your browsers? For example, use View → Zoom → Reset to set it back to the default in Firefox.
