Making room for more files

    If I delete a file from my media library, will it be deleted from the post in which it was featured?

    Yes it will.

    Images look like they are “in” your posts, but your post actually just includes code that tells the web browser to go find the photo and display it in the post. So, if you delete the image from your media library, it will no longer show up in your post because the link will be broken.
