Making site private

  I don’t have an option to make my page private again. It only gives me the option to make it private from search engines. I would like to make it private.

  Are you speaking of https://esemelle.com/? That site is not hosted on WordPress.com, just connected here via the Jetpack plugin.

  You’re using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider, and that software does not natively include an option to make a site private – that setting is specific to sites that are hosted with us on WordPress.com. To make your site private, you’ll instead need to install what’s called a maintenance mode plugin.

  Please ask the WordPress.org community for advice on the best plugin to use for this. They provide support for the version of WordPress you’re using:
