Making the switch…
-
I’d like to know when you make the switch from Blogger to WordPress.com the free version and aren’t able to attach your “followers” how do you get them to know and still visit with you?
Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

A typical way is to make a post on your old blog telling your readers you are moving with the link of the new blog.”
Example “Last post here at____ I’ll be posting at my new blog at____”

True and if they follow then they do, if not, oh well. Is there a way for them to get updates, etc. at your new place?
Thanks!

There is no way to upload any type of a file to your WordPress.com blog that will transfer the followers over to it. On your WordPress.com blog you can enable subscriptions. Please see here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/blog-subscriptions/ and here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/blog-subscription-widget/You can also set up sharing buttons on your posts. See here and if you want them to display on the front page then choose “Posts and index pages” for “Show sharing buttons on” setting.
