Making Widget Text Bold, Italicized, Colored, Underlined, Etc.

    Hey there!

    I am working on my site using the non-premium plan and Sela Theme. I am having some difficulty customizing the widget text to be bold, italicized, etc.
    Everything I’ve tried thus far hasn’t worked and every time I hit save/update, the widget reverts back to just text.
    Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you!!!

    Hi,

    On a test site with the Sela theme activated, I had no trouble creating bold and italicized text in a text widget. Try inserting the following in a text widget: 

    <strong>Bold text</strong>
<em>Italicized text</em>

    or

    <div align="left"><strong>Bold text</strong></div>
<div align="left"><em>Italicized text</em></div>
