Malicious content error message when accessing my wordpress site from social media

  Hi there. I am getting an error message when I attempt to follow links posted on social media to my wordpress blog. It is claiming that there is malicious content and stopping the link. Can you tell me how to fix this? The blog I am referring to is http://www.thirddegree.online/

  @georgieburns ,

  It’s possible that your sites code has been compromised by a malicious third party. I believe it would be best to first install a plugin to scan and confirm there isn’t any foul play involved. The Securi Security plugin will scan your site and protect it from any possible future attacks. You can find the download here.

  Once the scan is complete we can take the results and work off that.

  Hi there,
  I installed Securi Security, and did a scan of my website, but everything came up clean. However the malicious content message still comes up when I try and follow a link to my site from either facebook or instagram.

  @georgieburns Hey there, you’ve posted your question in the support forums for sites hosted on WordPressdotcom. Your site appears to be using the standalone WP (org) software and is hosted by iPage.

  For help with your self-hosted WP (org) install, you’ll need to post to https://wordpress.org/support If you don’t have a username account on the ORG forums, you can register one on that page.

  WordPressdotcom (where we are) and standalone WP are separate entities. For more info on that you might like to read: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  @tomservo0101 – These support forums are for users of the WordPressdotcom hosted platform, which is a highly customized, multi-user install of WordPress, and so is not the same as ORG. (see above support doc)

  Kindly refer ORG users who mistakenly post in these support forums to the support forums on ORG to get the assistance they need for their self-hosted site. Thanks for your assistance.
