Could you teach me how to place my posts into spun theme with numbered pictures?

    my site: thiswillchangethewayyoureadthebible.wordpress.com

  • There’s no way to have your images numbered on WordPress.com. If you want them to be numbered, you’ll need to manually edit them offline in a program like Gimp or Illustrator to add the number before you upload it to your site.

    Thanks again.

Many blogs. followers from other blog will not receive post published from other blogs, right?

  • Unknown's avatar

Anyway to deactivate followers from receiving published post?

  • Followers will only receive notifications from the site where they signed up, not from other sites in your account.

You can remove followers from My Site ->People, but that won’t prevent someone from re-following.

If you just want one post not to send out notifications, set your site to private at My Site ->Settings, publish the post, and then set the site back to public. The post will still appear in the Reader, but it won’t send email notifications if you do this.

What is considered a secured logged out from a password protected site? Is there one? Simply closing the window?

  • The password you set for posts or pages is stored in a visitor’s browser via cookies. So as long as the cookie is active, that person won’t need to enter the password again if they visit the same post/page. After a few days the cookie expires, and then they’ll need to enter the password again.

The only way to prevent the password from being remembered for a few days is to clear the browser cookies.

i wonder if i can enter a code to delete only the cookies belonged to the password from the protected post only upon closing the window.

On button, does this code work in wordpress.com?

How to fit more than 1 image in one row?

    Please ignore question:
How to fit more than 1 image in one row?
    i have found the answer.

  • There is nothing you can add to your site to force cookies to be deleted in the browsers of you people visiting the site, no.

That button class is specific to that theme, but you can find info on how to add buttons to a post, page or widget on any theme here:

    Hi going back to question:
How to fit 3 images in one row?
Wordpress groups them to accomplish this however, how do i have 3 individual links, with the 3 images still in 1 roll. (Currently, one link is used for the 3 images in 1 group, correct? i don’t want this). Please help

  • If you add 3 images on the same line, so without pressing Enter after adding an image, they should automatically show next to each other provided they’re not too wide.

Make sure you add the images one at a time, though. If you add all 3 at once, they’ll be added as an image gallery and you won’t be able to link individual images to different locations. Also make sure you set all 3 images to left-aligned.

The other option is to create an HTML table and add the images inside the table. But you should only attempt that if you’re comfortable with HTML, and also keep in mind that this will break your site’s responsiveness on mobile screens as the table won’t adjust automatically based on screen size.

    Hi Good Day to you!

    1. i notice that my recently published page is not “VISIBLE” as my post that was published at almost the same time. Is this a difference between a page and a post? If that is the case, would the new page be emailed to my email follower?
    2. Is my published page VISIBLE to the WordPress community? If it does not, i do not need to set my site to private, means i can use page to publish?
    3. Could you direct me to the WordPress site where i can see that my published material appears to the WordPress community?
    4. Is there a limit to # of password protected posts or pages i can create?
    5. By default, the cookie expires 10 days from creation. To turn this into a session cookie, return 0. How to use the filter?

Greatly appreciated for your valuable inputs.

  • A published page is visible to anyone who has the link, and it is indexed by search engines if your site is set to public. For example, the About page on your site is here:

    About

The reason you can’t see it on your site, though, is because your theme doesn’t have an automatic menu, so there is nowhere you can click to go to the page. You’d need to add a custom menu to enable people to find the pages on your site.

Pages only appear on your site. They do not appear in the Reader for followers, and they don’t generate email notifications.

    3. Could you direct me to the WordPress site where i can see that my published material appears to the WordPress community?

I don’t know what you mean by this. Any content you publish appears on your site. Posts can also appear in the Reader, but they will only appear for people already following your site there.

    4. Is there a limit to # of password protected posts or pages i can create?

    There is no limit, no.

    5. By default, the cookie expires 10 days from creation. To turn this into a session cookie, return 0. How to use the filter?

I’m not sure what you’re referring to here. There is no way to manually configure browser cookies for sites on WordPress.com.
