Someone has had a malware scare when visiting my website (a recorded message telling them their computer had been attacked by a virus and they needed to call a number within 5 minutes or all their info would be taken, etc.). The website is theriddleages.wordpress.com – I don’t think the site has been hacked, but I’m not sure how to absolutely confirm this.

There has been no reports of malware, so the likelihood is that the person visiting your website either got that from somewhere else, or is being dishonest. Nonetheless, I’ve tagged staff as they may be able to give specific details to help reassure you.

I’ve checked theriddleages.wordpress.com and can’t see any issues with the site itself or evidence to suggest it has been hacked — we continuously watch traffic and monitor for this kind of suspicious activity.
It sounds like this person may have malware or a virus on their device so it would be worth asking them to install or run anti-virus software.
