Malware detected on my WordPress.com site

    I went to post something today on my blog and got a malware warning.

    Google Chrome said my blog has something from TopBlogArea.com (a known maleware distributor has been insterted in my blog… but i cannot find it….

    I checked the blog with the google webmaster tool and sitecheck.sucuri.net :: both came back clean. No Malware Detected.

    I am not sure how to proceed… can someone give me some advice? thanks!

    Hi there,

    Malware warnings are generated by Google Chrome, not WordPress.com. They almost always occur because you have hotlinked an image or other content from a site that Google has determined is hosting malware.

    To resolve this issue, check all of your images and other content for links to TopBlogArea.com, and delete those links.
