Malware on my site?

    Hello I have a domain with GoDaddy and my site is hosted here at WordPress. Whenever I type in my site thisismeish.com it leads to some type of malware/spam website. I contacted GoDaddy and was told it is an issue with WordPress so I am here to find out what is going on. This has been the case for several weeks. I am able to login to my account and make edits etc. with no issue. Please let me know what is going on as this is very concerning. Thank you.

    Hi there,

    Your site is also hosted by GoDaddy as you’re using the self-hosted version of WordPress.

    If GoDaddy can’t help you, then you should ask over at the WordPress.org forum:

    These forums are for WordPress.com hosted sites only. If you want to know more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org you can read this document:

    Your site is not hosted on our servers, so we have no control over this.

    Support for the WordPress software which you downloaded from WordPress.org, not WordPress.com, and installed on GoDaddy’s servers, are found in the self-hosted WordPress forums that @fstat linked to above.

    We cannot help you in the WordPress.com forums – we are a hosting provider, like GoDaddy, and can only help with sites hosted on our servers, not any site using the WordPress software.
