MAMP, WP and going live. A huge problem for me.
-
I created a full website using WordPress with a local host MAMP. After hours and hours and hours of work I finally had a finished product only to find it very difficult to get my site live. I tried with 2 different hosts and in the end after not understanding what or where the database was that I needed to export, and making some changes to wp-config, I cannot find my site on my local server. It is not this one. I believe this wp site is one I started when I was in school. I am not sure. The log in info is the same as the one I used to access through MAMP which I can no longer do. Thankfully I have .xml files of my content so I can start over with a bit of work. I have been to tons of tutorials with WP and MAMP and things only have gotten worse, hence I cannot find my content. So, I guess I don’t have a question, just an explanation of sorts as to why I want to delete this account.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

And you should ask in the WordPress.org forum.
